I needed my drivers side mirror replaced and I had brought the exact part for my car from the Toyota shop. I came here to save some money on labor and time because Toyota was outrageously priced. Unfortunately Toyota also seemed to give me the wrong part that didn’t fit my car so when Scott went to install it it didn’t fit. Despite having done the work to remove my door panel and the old mirror to prep for installation as well as putting it all back together they way it was they were extremely understanding of my situation and didn’t charge me for the labor since I didn’t get a part installed. Even though it wasn’t their fault most shops would not be so kind. If I wasn’t in a tough spot financially I would have paid them for the labor regardless but I am so so grateful there are people in this industry that care about there customers. It’s a rare thing to find and I hope this review helps others see the kind of people here at this shop. If I lived in the area that would immediately make this my go to shop.","relative_time":"4 months ago","published_at":"2026-05-29T19:32:16.000Z"},{"author_name":"Lindsey Maxwell","author_url":"https://www.google.com/maps/contrib/117881759358136525156/reviews","rating":1,"text":"Bought tires in March of 25. I was the idiot for taking my Jeep there in the 1st place hence the name CAR-X. The techs joked about how much they loved installing the large tires on the jeep. Got my jeep back and my alignment was absolutely terrible. My steering wheel was permanently stuck to the right. Called to ask why it wasn't aligned and they played dumb and said something that I dont even remember at this point a year later. I took it to Dobbs to have it aligned and they reported back to me how much damage was done underneath because of the person installing my tires previously didnt know what they were doing and that was very clear. Beware and dont be an idiot like me and take your 4x4 vehicle to a CAR shop. Jokes on me.\n1 year later: called to ask about a warranty because I have a nail in my tire. They could not answer my question and said they'd have to see my tire first before they could tell me if it was under warranty. Lol! As I crouched down to check it, I heard a hissing sound and noticed the driver’s side rear tire was down to 20 PSI - it should’ve been around 35. I realized I didn’t have much time to get it repaired.\n\nWhile searching for a nearby Dobbs (where I had just purchased new tires), I looked up and spotted a Car-X right across the street. I drove over and was immediately greeted by the manager, Kevin Radtke. I told him I was already late to a party, and without hesitation, he called over a technician. They jacked up the car and fixed the flat on the spot - in just 10 minutes.\n\nI’m incredibly grateful to Kevin and his team. They saved the day!
