A particularly noteworthy aspect was their ability to accommodate our vehicle for inspection ahead of the scheduled time. Overall, my experience warrants a five-star rating.\nI've been taking my vehicle to CarX on Olive Boulevard in University City for quite a while, and I couldn't be happier with the service. The team is professional, honest, and consistently does excellent work. Their pricing is fair, and they often go the extra mile by offering discounts, which I really appreciate.\n\nIt's hard to find mechanics you can trust, but I've always felt confident bringing my vehicle here. They take the time to explain what needs to be done and never make me feel pressured into unnecessary repairs. I highly recommend CarX to anyone looking for reliable, affordable, and trustworthy automotive service.","relative_time":"4 months ago","published_at":"2026-06-03T19:16:46.000Z"},{"author_name":"Joel Bortz","author_url":"https://www.google.com/maps/contrib/111153765135114226592/reviews","rating":5,"text":"I I've been there now several times and am impressed every time. Certainly when compared to a Midas or Meineke. Matt the manager is excellent at his job and always makes all customers feel like guest. Their actual service is done by highly skilled mechanics and even though I know it's my turn.ti have my car worked in next, I always feel like they have a sense of urgency to get my needs taken care of and it feels like priority. Highly recommend and I endorse this sgip and recommend it to others who needs their vehicle services without predatory selling of services you don't need or require. Highly recommend this location and I am very comfortable bringing all of my cars there for work that my moble mechanic can't do on his own or that requires a lift. 10/10 recommend for all your standard wear and tear needs. I'm yet to use them on a major job but can vouch for the quality of works the dining smaller basic items (like wheek alignments, plugs, tire rotations, oil changes and more. my confidence in the quality of their work is high. I myself will be being myown vehicles there for work when necessary and recommend this Car-X to others looking for a reliable shop that doesn't try to fleece you every time you need a small job done. it's a welcomfe change a6ns refreshing to work with them.","relative_time":"4 months ago","published_at":"2026-06-01T17:33:03.000Z"},{"author_name":"Sharon Shahid","author_url":"https://www.google.com/maps/contrib/113052350459229984539/reviews","rating":5,"text":"Matt and the team at CarX in U. I was skeptical of going to a big-name tire place. But they were the closest to me and I figured I'd give them a shot. They didn't try to upsell me (and trust me, they could have). I needed all 4 tires replaced, and Matt boiled it down to 3 options/price tiers. I went with the most expensive, but he wouldn't have given me trouble had I gone with the cheapest. I did and they had it finished after 3pm! A costly service tho but pads, rotors, etc. OK.
