Just park your car in the service line and leave the keys on the seat. Wait to be seen inside so they can ask some questions and then leave or stay like I do in the waiting area. Water is available and can be offered a free coffee from the coffee stand inside. Bathrooms available around the corner and are decent. Waits never been as long as they say it will be and there is free wifi for the wait.","rating":5,"date":null},{"customer_name":"jim burnett","content":"i bought a car a couple weeks ago. driving home i noticed the temp guage would go to 3/4 and then drop down to below 1/2. ok. i figured maybe that's how the thermastat works on this model. 2010 malibu 3.6L engine. got home and could smell the engine was hot, radiator fans whirling away.  a few days later while my wife was driving she noticed the temp gauge went way into the red. she pulled over and noticed the coolant reservoir was empty. we filled it up and continued to monitor. there was a slow steady drip of coolant . most likely cause was water pump i figured. after texting with your so called chat assistant  about my problem ( actually 3 of them diego,asher,and james. ) each one said someone will look into it and get back to me. never happened. i ended up calling the service department and they said bring it in and we\"ll run a diagnostic. i asked \"as a reputable dealer and in good faith because i just bought the car ($12000) would you fix it for free\" he said we\"ll talk about it after we find out whats wrong. they did a pressure test and said the water pump needed to be replaced and showed me the quote for $1100. (NAPA sells the water pump for $143). we started talking about maybe trading back the malibu for something else .my wife and i were having some buyers remorse. we found a car we liked and we sat down and started talking numbers. they offered $4900 for the same car i just paid $12000 for less then 3 weeks ago. i felt insulted and said no way . they came again with a $7000 offer. another slap to the face. at that time i was so mad i just wanted my car so i could get the heck out of there. after a huge misunderstanding. i was told there would be no charge for the water pump. when i called him on it he said that was only under the condition i trade in the malibu and bought something else. well i must have missed that part. anyway they knocked $500 off the $1100 bill. and i relunctantly agreed. this was the 2nd car we'd purchased at west hills,and were planning on buying a third. but after this experience and reading similar reviews i'll be shopping elsewhere. i just want to add a shout out to sales rep Jo'el  (outstanding) and Megan (equally outstanding) but once you start getting above their pay grades .things start to deteriorate very quickly. * REVISE *   after speaking with the general manager he determined the whole situation could have been handled better. and in a gesture of good will and  appreciation of me being a past,present and future customer west hills paid for the water pump. they have earned back my respect and i look forward to our next vehicle purchase . i take back my 1 star  rating  and give them 5 stars.","rating":5,"date":null},{"customer_name":"Derek Bushnell","content":"Went here with my friend and sister to buy a new car,it was very busy All day, but the staff were very courteous and professional, keep up the amazing work ladies and gentlemen.","rating":5,"date":null},{"customer_name":"Richard Brush","content":"Bryan was a stellar salesperson who helped us find the right car at the right price!
